Frank Cassano offers, through the Saluki Club of America, to the Best Dog (BOB or BOS) in Show. The trophy consists of a large silver Nambe hare on a mahogany base. Previous to 2024, the trophy was awarded to the winner of the SCOA Western Regional, and the names of those Salukis are on plaques. The trophy will remain in the possession of the SCOA until being retired by being won three times by the same owner or owners, but not necessarily with the same dog.
