BRENLAIR TROPHY (BEST BITCH IN SHOW)
Brenlair Trophy: In memory of Margaret B. Sheets
Jay Kappemeier and Linda Scanlon offer, through the Saluki Club of America, to the Best Bitch (BoB or BoS) in Show. The trophy consists of a kneeling bronze camel which will surmount a dual tiered walnut and marble camel base. Two brass plates appear on the front of the trophy reading "The Brenlair Trophy - In memory of Margaret B. Sheets" and "Awarded to the Best Bitch (BoB or BoS) in Show". The wooden tier has small plates onto which the name of the winning saluki is engraved. This trophy is estimated to weigh about 25 pounds. There is a a box in which to store the trophy complete with foam padding to protect the trophy from year to year. The trophy will remain in the possession of the SCOA until being retired by being won three times by the same owner or owners.
