SCOA has made special arrangements with The Wildwood Hotel in Wildwood, MO

to be the host hotel for the 2012 SCOA National Specialty. A special rate of $79.00 per night   (plus 15.68% tax)  has been negotiated by Pres. Jay Kappmeier. The rooms are in the name of The Saluki Club of America and are booked from June 3 through June 11. Only a limited number of rooms are available, so we recommend you book early.

There will be a $50.00 REFUNDABLE dog fee.  The fee will be returned, or not charged to your card once they inspect the rooms.  They will have extra staff on hand Saturday morning (best of breed day) to expedite the inspections.

The hotel is relatively new and the rooms are very nice.

• 32″ LCD TVs, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board are available in each room.

The Saluki Club of America and its attendees agree to use designated walk areas for all dogs. Pick-up and removal of waste is the responsibility of the owner. SCOA will put baggies in designated walking areas and ask that people are diligent in cleaning up after their dogs.Dog kennels (crates) in sleeping rooms are required to have plastic liners under the dog kennel. When guest is away from sleeping room, all dogs are required to be in kennels in order for Wildwood Hotel Staff to service sleeping rooms.

A maximum number of four (4) dogs are permitted in each guestroom

This hotel is 15 miles from Purina Farms and one of the closest to it.

The largest, Holiday Inn at Six Flags, has 188 rooms with most at ground level.
