RV Parking/Camping Guidelines
Saluki Club of America, Inc.
Recreational Vehicle Parking Policy at Purina Farms
The Saluki Club of America, Inc. (“SCOA”) Recreational Vehicle (“RV”) parking policy is as follows:
In the interest of fairness, all RV parking spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. During a ten-day period, which will begin the day after the premium list is announced on SCOA’s 2018 National Specialty Facebook page, ten parking spaces in Row A (A5 to A14) will be set aside for registered vendors, those with documented disabilities, and the show committee. These spaces will also be assigned on a first come, first served basis. At the close of the ten-day period any of these spaces in Row A that have not been reserved will be open for general reservations along with all other unreserved spaces. Reservations will continue to be accepted up to show closing date.
Background: In developing this policy, SCOA consulted with Purina about their parking policy. We were informed by Purina that, while they do have an RV guidelines diagram, it is not a required parking policy, so each club is free to develop their own policy. SCOA was further informed that all the parking spaces in rows A through C will accommodate a 55-foot RV and that it was common for clubs to place larger motor home in rows B and C (Row D will not accommodate 55-foot RVs easily because of the road on its edge).
