WHAT: Lapel Pin Design Contest for the 2009 SCOA Pin.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- The design should lend itself to being made into a 1" round, oval or square cloisonne style pin. Ideas for cloisonne style designs can be viewed at http://atdesigns.com
- Multiple colors are encouraged but keep the lines simple so your Saluki stands out. The letters SCOA, along with the year 2009 need to be in the design, but the main focus is the Saluki.
- Entry should be on standard sized (8-1/2 X 11) paper, and mounted for easy display. The artwork will be displayed and voted on at the SCOA National in Lexington, Kentucky in early June.
WHAT DO I GET IF I WIN?
- Glory! , Gloating Rights and Public Recognition of the winning pin design
- A quantity of the finished pins to share with your family and friends
- The artwork will be utilized for the cover of the 2009 Book of Records (more Glory and Recognition!)
All artwork submissions become the property of the Saluki Club of America and those original art pieces may be auctioned in an SCOA Fundraising event. So even if you don't win, you would still be supporting/benefitting the SCOA with your art submission.
